Exp.1: Focus adjustment
Subject: 32 men and women of VDT(visual display terminals) workers who appeal failing vision, aged 20 to 55.
Dose: 360mg of KUROMANINⓇ-10 per day for 4 weeks.
Instrument: Accommodometer
Test Item: Value of Near Point (Appearance, Disappearance, Continuance)
[Evaluation]
If the values are constant near zero-point the focus adjustment prove to be improved.
If the values become higher than zero, it does not prove to be improved.
[Result]
The focus adjustment proved to be improved after administration of KUROMANINⓇ-10.
Exp. 2: Visual Acuity (Eyesight)
[Result]
The results shows that a rate of about 50% of improvement to normalcy (transition to constancy) in a dominant eye.
[Specific Example]
1) 45-year-old man: 0.7 to 1.2 (left eye)
2) 29-year-old women: 0.3 to 0.7 (right eye)
3) 29-year-old women: 0.3 to 0.6 (left eye)
Key Point!
The significant improvement was found in those who have the visual acuity value of more than 0.2. As to those of less than 0.1, the improvement was found when the administration was continued for more than 1 month.
